3. Event Description
TIAMAT is a multi-tier training programme informed by a 4E cognitive science framework, in which cognition is understood as embodied, embedded, enacted, and extended. The programme is designed as an ecology of practices that may include dialogue, imagination, mindfulness, embodiment, group exercises, psychoeducation, relational work, and collective sense-making.
The programme is designed for transfer, with the aim that capacities developed in practice continue beyond the Event context.
Tier 1
Tier 1 is a three-day training designed to offer foundational tools for noticing, tracking, and regulating experience in order to support greater agency in day-to-day life. Tier 1 may include psychoeducation, dialogue, imagination, mindfulness, embodiment, and experiential group practices.
Tier 2
Tier 2 is a more intensive residential training focused on shadow work in a participatory and relational setting. It builds on Tier 1 and may include skill-building, capacity-building, relational exercises, embodiment, collective sense-making, and structured integration. Tier 2 is designed to work with emotional intensity and relational challenge within a facilitated container.
ATM Events are educational and developmental in nature and are not therapy, self-help treatment, or medical or psychological care.
